Questions I needed answered
- In the United States, we drive on the right. We also tend to walk down
hallways on the right, and escalators are arranged so that the one going the
way you want to go is on the right. In the United Kingdom and lots of other
places, they drive on the left. Does hallway protocol and escalator (or are
they called 'lifts' or something silly like that too?) placement, etc.

- I was right. Kind of curious, really...
- I'm not too keen on Bible Trivia, but does anyone know how many kids
Adam and Eve had, and their Genders? Also, grandchildren and further down
the family tree would be helpful as well.
- A lot of people answered tell me that the known kids were called
"Seth", "Cain" and "Abel", and that they were all boys. Thank you. The
original idea was to make a sort of family tree to show the intergenerational
and intrafamilial copulation that must have occured... but I am also told
that the Bible (or biblical scholars, or both) explain this by telling me
that God also made a whole bunch of women for the boys to marry and have
children with. So strike the family tree idea.

The lore goes that the Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland comes from
an old expression "Mad as a Hatter", which itself comes from the fact
that many hatmakers were mad, because of their use of mercury in the
hat factory. Does anyone know what you would possibly use mercury for
in the manufacture of hats? Did they just slosh about in it for no
reason?
