Tom's Sailor Moon stuff page

*.*

OK, here's the deal: I haven't updated this page in ages, and though I am still a Sailor Moon fan, since they aren't showing the series any more in the United States, I have sort of become less enthusiastic about maintaining it. In my efforts to purify my page and not leave it in an unfinished or unupdated state, I've changed this page in the following ways:

  • Removed the FAQ, which was outdated. You should have no trouble finding a legitimate new version if you look.
  • Erased promises of updates and much of the text. This will basically be a static web page unless the links break or something unexpected happens.

Here is what you will find here:

  • My rendition of the Battle Music in MIDI format, since I think this is probably the only place that is currently available.
  • The three pictures which were previously here which are some of my favorites.
  • My listing of favorite sites for pictures and other resources.
    Music

  • jupiter.mid - This is generic battle music, transposed by myself, from the US version of Sailor Moon. This particular theme often plays when Sailor Jupiter uses her "Jupiter Thunder!" attack, or Sailor Mercury's "Mercury bubble blast!".
The drums may play incorrectly if you are using a Windows MIDI player; this plays best through CakeWalk with a real MIDI box or keyboard.

    FTP sites

  • You can find a really immense Sailor Moon picture (and other stuff) archive at ftp.tcp.com in the directory /pub/anime-manga/sorted/SailorMoon/Images/. Inside the images directory there is another directory called "TV", which has even more pictures. You can also find mpeg and au sound files in the other subdirectories of /pub/anime-manga/sorted/SailorMoon/.

For more pictures, you can always check the newsgroup alt.binaries.pictures.anime, which seems to often be filled with nonsense, but occasionally will sport some good pictures.

    Links

This won't be very extensive, because the first link should be pretty much all-encompassing. I've picked out particularly good ones, though.

Uh, er, can't you do this yourself? Try!
